We’re Mark & Kris Batte, and Ouachita Meadow Retreat is our little piece of the Ouachita Mountains — 65 peaceful acres just outside Mena, Arkansas. This is our home, a place our family loves, and a piece of Arkansas we’re excited to share with others.
Our cedar log cabin, affectionately named “The Lazy-Ass,” was created as a place to slow down, reconnect and enjoy a simpler pace of life — without giving up the comforts of home. Just one mile from the Wolf Pen Gap Southern Trailhead, the ranch puts outdoor adventure practically at your doorstep.
Whether you come to ride the trails, escape for a quiet weekend, gather with people you love, or celebrate something special, we hope you'll enjoy this place as much as our family does.
